Q. Who are you and what are you doing here?

A. My name's Bob Pauly. I'm a writer/IT professional who retired from the Coast Guard after a 21 year career in Counter-Narcotics and Search and Rescue (with a smattering of polar exploration thrown in for good measure). Paulystuff! is my attempt to have some fun, impart some knowledge, and offer to the public rare, nifty, original model kits and some other cool stuff.

Bob's World is my blog. Besides my musings, you will find a growing collection of original short stories and essays.

I'm something of a weather nut. I maintain a weather station near Grafton, WV. The menu button at the left will take you to my weather page.

The Scale Model Wiki is a new project to collect all sorts of information about the engrossing hobby of collecting and building scale models. (They're not just for kids, anymore...) There are also several interesting pages to visit related to modeling on the "Links" page.
